Patiences is a virtue and now I can add cool fonts to my website even if they are not local in a visitors computer. There are two systems I have looked at thus far. the first uses Flash media fonts. I like some things with flash however there are to many times when flash just doesn't keep up. I chose the Java script version. the following is a plug-in for Joomla, http://www.keashly.net/ I just installed it and thus far I am happy with it.
